Summer Events ![]() Summer Events Calendar for the Park City Area: June: 6/2 3rd Annual Swaner Nature Festival: Presented by Swaner Nature Preserve. 11 am to 3 pm at the Basin Recreation Field. The community is invited to this free event to learn about local environmental issues in a fun, festive environment. Enjoy lively, local bluegrass music while learning how to turn trash into treasures, design a native garden or photograph wildlife. 6/3 Park City Children's Fair: The 14th annual Park City Children's Fair, hosted by Soaring Wings Education Foundation. 11 am to 3 pm at City Park, rain or shine. Activities for the whole family: games, art, live music, prizes, food and Park City's largest rummage sale. Proceeds benefit local and global charities that support children and the environment. 6/9 Pedalfest:. The 8th stop in the Intermountain Cup Series at Deer Valley 6/14-16 Park City Ski Town Shootout Lacrosse 6/16-17 NORBA: The 3rd stop in the National Mountain Bike Race Series at Deer Valley Resort features top-level professional mountain bike racing and is free to the public. 6/23 The 12 Hours of Endurance: A competition of solo riders and 2 or 4 person teams over 12 hours, as early season training and introduction to endurance racing. 100% of proceeds from the site fee will go toward National Ability Center biking programs. 6/29 Park City Gallery Stroll: Presented by Kimball Art Center. 6 pm at the Kimball Art Center. Fine art, hors d'oeuvres, beverages and live music at the Kimball. Then follow your map to 25 participating Park City Galleries. ![]() July: 7/3 Celebration at The Canyons Resort: Live music and fireworks in the Resort Village. 7/4 Park City's Traditional Independence Day Celebration: All-day activities: pancake breakfast at City Park; 5k walk/run; mid-morning parade down Main St followed by a picnic, free live entertainment and games for children at City Park; annual doubles volleyball tournament; fireworks display at dusk. 7/4-7 Oakley's 4th of July Celebration and Rodeo:. A fabulous marathon on the beautiful Mid Mountain Trail. At 8000' on level terrain from Deer Valley Resort to The Canyons Resort. 9/8 Swaner Nature Preserve Gala Event 9/15 The National Ability Center's A Starry Night: 6 to 11 pm.
