What is The Residences at The Chateaux?
The Residences at The Chateaux is a private, member-owned, equity residence
clubSM with elegant common
amenities and luxurious three and four-bedroom residences and four-bedroom
penthouses. Amenities at The Residences include a gracious reception
lobby, sumptuous members lounge, private ski locker room with sauna
and steam room, fully equipped fitness center, business center, teen
room, toddler-care room and heated parking garage. Long-term clothing
and sports equipment storage, private concierge and housekeeping services,
and private airport and in-town transportation are provided for all
members. Additionally, as members of The Chateaux Condominium Association,
members of The Residences may enjoy the adjacent amenities of The Chateaux at Silver Lake, a
luxury hotel. These include heated swimming pool, outdoor jetted spas,
gourmet restaurant, bar, destination spa, ski and mountain bike rentals
and assorted boutiques. BACK

How often can owners/members enjoy
their club?
As often as they wish, subject to the club’s reservation
policies. Each membership can reserve up to 14 days of Planned
Winter Vacations and 14 days of Planned Summer Vacations.
After all Planned Vacation time is reserved, members can
reserve additional lodging on a “space
available” basis. With only six memberships per residence, there
is abundant availability throughout the year and there is no limit to
the amount of use by each member. If some members use the club less than
their available time, other members will be able to use it more. BACK

How is ownership of The Residences
evidenced?
Title is evidenced by a real estate deed that is recorded
and is guaranteed by a title insurance policy. Each member
owns a one-sixth undivided, deeded interest in one of the
club’s fully furnished residences.
Each member also owns an interest in the club facilities and common areas.

How many undivided, deeded interests
will be sold?
The Residences at The Chateaux will offer a maximum of six ownerships
per each of its 19 residences, for a total of only 114 memberships.

Can more than one family or individual
own a single membership?
Yes. More than one family or individual may own a single membership.
It will be up to the joint owners to allocate lodging for that membership
in compliance with the lodging privileges. BACK

Is The Residences at The Chateaux
a typical timeshare development?
No. Timeshare is typically the ownership of a specific week and lodging
is limited to a specific unit. The Residences at The Chateaux members
have access to all residences of their membership category and all club
facilities, with the right of use anytime, subject to reservation policies.
The Residences at The Chateaux membership is similar to membership
in a prestigious equity golf country club. There are only six owners
per residence, ensuring abundant and flexible use for all members. BACK

Are there similar residence clubs
at other prestigious resorts?
Yes. Equity residence clubs currently are operating successfully at the
prestigious mountain resorts of Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Steamboat Springs,
Jackson Hole, Sun Valley and Lake Tahoe. Residence clubs also have been
well received in Manhattan, Napa Valley, Bermuda and Cabo San Lucas,

What are the advantages
of being an owner at The Residences compared
to whole ownership of a luxury Deer Valley vacation home?
The Residences at The Chateaux: provides more convenience, services and
amenities than are provided by an equally luxurious Deer Valley home;
provides members with as much (or more) vacation use as typical Deer
Valley homeowners use their vacation homes; matches the cost of owning
and maintaining the vacation home with the amount of use; provides the
added flexibility of reserving multiple residences at the same time for
social gatherings or small corporate meetings; and eliminates the worries

Do members have guest privileges?
Yes. Guests staying in the same residence with a member are allowed to
vacation at the club at no charge. Members also may invite Unaccompanied
Guests to use their confirmed Planned Vacations without a guest fee.

be open to the public?
When fully subscribed, The Residences at The Chateaux will be operated
for the use, benefit and enjoyment of its owners and their guests only.
Prior to full subscription, limited public use will be permitted for
marketing purposes. This use will not diminish the lodging rights of
